Between The Darkness and The Light

I can't really describe it but it looked awfully familiar. Something you would remember in a dream would be the best way to describe it. It was big and warm. The light that came off of it at first hurt my eyes but soon they grew accustom to it's brilliant sparkle. I was a little weary to go outside thinking that this event, for lack of a better word, could harm me in someway. So I raced for my television and turned on the local news to see if this phenomenon wasn't happening only out my window or throughout the city of New York. The nice lady meteorologist explained what was going on and say we should all go outside and partake in this rare occurrence cause tomorrow it would be gone. So I dressed appropriately and went forth into the light.

Oh, I found out what this object in the sky was called.....THE SUN!
